Conference "From Atom to Galaxy - 2023"

"I think means I exist," Descartes said more than 300 years ago, and he was right: a person can only fully realize himself when he is engaged in the study of the surrounding world. It's never too early to start exploring - and the sooner a person touches the study of the unknown, the better. Of course, the first steps in science can be very naive - but they can lay the foundation for a career of a great scientist. Many well-known professors and academicians came to their field, starting with simple studies at school. One of the best places to present your work is the conference "From Atom to Galaxy".

This year we plan to hold it for the eighth time. Since 2016, we have been through a lot together with its participants, scientific supervisors and members of the jury (it is gratifying that these are not permanent categories, and now it is quite possible to see a former student in the rank of teacher or expert). We hope that in 2023 we will hold a conference in accordance with our best traditions, and new participants will be comfortable and interesting in a circle of like-minded people.

The conference is scheduled for May 12, 2023 (Friday) on the basis of the State Educational Institution Romanovskaya School (Belorusskaya metro station).

The registration period for participation in the conference is until April 24, 2023. You can apply using the electronic form on the website of the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University. The application must be accompanied by abstracts in DOCX format, which must contain the following points (see sample):

a) title of the work, full name of its author and supervisor, school number;

b) the formulation of the goals and objectives of the work;

c) description of the methods used in the work;

d) formulation of the main results and discussion of the results;

e) the list of references.

You should use the Times New Roman font, size – 14, one and a half interval. The volume is 1-2 A4 pages.

The work should be presented at the conference in the form of a presentation. The presentation should contain a description of the work, as well as illustrative material (graphs, tables, photographs). The desired volume is 15-20 slides. We ask you to submit the full text of the paper with a volume of 7 – 10 pages in electronic form on the day of the conference.
